Thermoplastic shells
The protector is engineered from thermoplastic shells that provide enhanced abrasion resistance and sliding performance, as well as impact protection.

Nucleon PLASMA compound and geometry
The Nucleon PLASMA element is constructed from a bio-based viscoelastic impact-absorbing compound with no less than 25% bio-based content, molded into a precision-engineered geometry. The PLASMA material dissipates impact energy and significantly reduces transmitted forces through controlled material response. Its low-profile PLASMA geometry is developed to compress and extend with movement, while the channeled and highly perforated design supports airflow.

Slip joint construction
The slip joint construction provides high levels of articulation and a comfortable, snug fit that keeps the protector in place while riding.

Pre-shaped padded construction
The protector features soft tactile inner padding for enhanced rider comfort, with a pre-shaped construction incorporating soft-touch, perforated, stretchable padding for enhanced comfort and superior airflow. Extra lower and side padding provides extended coverage.

Upper calf and hem retention
The anatomically sculpted upper calf and upper hem silicon strips keep the protector securely in position.
